I can't log in
Incorrect email Please ensure that your email is correct including case
Wrong password Please ensure that you are entering the correct password. If you have forgotten your password, you can use the Forgot My Password function to get a reset password link via email.
No connected to the internet Make sure you are connected to the internet, you can check your internet connect and speed here https://www.speedtest.net/.

The page isn't displaying properly
Some older web browsers and devices are unable to correctly display YouthCHAT due to not supporting some of the features which modern web browsers provide. We aim to support as many devices and browsers as possible, but in general devices or browsers older than 2016 may experience some graphical issues. Even more recent devices which are not running up-to-date software may also experience graphical issues.

The following may help to resolve the issue:
  • Clear the history and website data of your browser. For example, on iPad, please go to device "Settings" > "Safari" > "Clear History and Website Data".
  • If a new software update is available for your device, updating will often resolve the issue. For example, on iPad, please go to device "Settings" > "General" > "Software Update".
  • If you are using a tablet or mobile device, try using a desktop if one is available. Most reported graphical issues arise on older iPad devices in which software is not up-to-date. Desktop devices are usually not affected, so an (at least temporary) solution is to use a desktop device if one is available.
If you are still unable to use YouthCHAT due to a graphical issue, please email the helpdesk helpdesk@youthchat.co.nz and include as much information as you can about the model of your device, the software version that is installed, and a description of the graphical issue.
